The challenge
Amazon inbound is a discipline of its own. Two shifts made that clear:
- Inbound placement fees, launched in March 2024, became a real financial and operational drag on sellers.
- Operators were focused on inbound times. Although they are important, the critical metric that UEP and most sellers struggle to move is time to Prime-eligible.
The solution
ZonPrep took over inbound and did more:
- Routed every shipment directly to Amazon Regionals (RIXDs) as an optimized shipment and eliminated placement fees
- Sent every shipment as a floor-loaded FTL with live unload appointment, guaranteeing 24-48 hour inbounds
- Gave UEP more control and ownership over their FBA supply chain, by eliminating AWD, AGL, and other Amazon-based services
