September 2026 EditionAn Average of 12.6 Days Faster Inbound Times to Amazon Across 10 Sellers
Every month we run opportunity analyses for Amazon sellers: their actual inbound lead time shipping direct to Amazon, against what the same freight does through ZonPrep. These are ten from September. Accounts are anonymized. Every figure carries the window it was measured over.
These are selected results from opportunity analyses we ran this month. Not every analysis finds nine days. Some find one, and some find none.
20.3 days before ZonPrep. 7.7 days after.
An average of 12.6 days faster.
How to read these numbers
What an opportunity analysis measures. We pull a seller's own inbound history: how long their freight actually took from their dock to receipt at an Amazon fulfillment center, shipping direct. Then we measure the same journey through ZonPrep, from their ship date through prep and consolidation to receipt at Amazon. The route is unchanged in purpose and shorter in practice.
Why the windows differ. Most figures here are a 30-day trailing average. Some are pulled over 365 days, where a longer window gives a truer picture of an account with seasonal or uneven volume. The window is stated on every card because the number means nothing without it.
Why these ten. They are the widest gaps we found this month, not a sample of all our clients and not an average of them. Some analyses we ran found a day. One found nothing at all. We publish the range we measure in the recap above rather than implying every account looks like the best one.
Why the accounts are unnamed. These are our clients' operating numbers, not ours to publish with their names attached. Where a brand agrees to go on the record, the full story runs as a case study instead.
Lead time figures are based on actual shipment data from current ZonPrep clients, tracked and verified by our team. Individual results may vary based on product category, shipment volume, and Amazon receiving conditions.
